You do not have to live with it. We supply extinguishers in polished chrome, brushed stainless, matte black, white, pink and colour-matched finishes. Underneath the finish they are the same certified, serviceable extinguishers as any other: same charge, same rating, same annual service, same paperwork for your fire risk assessment.

Finishes we supply

Polished chrome: the one people ask for most. Reads as a fitting rather than equipment.
Brushed stainless: quieter than chrome, very good in kitchens and anywhere with stainless worktops already.
Matte black: disappears against dark walls and dark joinery.
Pink: a long-standing favourite in salons, nail bars and beauty rooms, and often chosen for charity and awareness tie-ins.
White and colour-matched: matched to a brand colour or to the paint on the wall behind it.

Still fully certified equipment

This matters, so it is worth being plain about it. A custom-finish extinguisher is a certified extinguisher with a different outer finish. It carries the same rating, is commissioned the same way, is serviced on the same annual cycle, and satisfies a fire risk assessment exactly as a red one would.

Identification signage still goes above the unit, as it must, so anyone who does not know the building can still find it in a hurry. We fit signage that suits the interior rather than fighting it.

Stands, cabinets and brackets to match

A chrome extinguisher on a cheap white bracket is a half-finished job. We supply matching floor stands, wall brackets and glazed cabinets, and where nothing off the shelf fits the space we fabricate a bracket or a plinth on site.

Questions we get asked about custom extinguishers

Are coloured fire extinguishers legal in the UK?

Yes. What matters is that the extinguisher is a certified unit of the correct type, that it carries the right colour-coded label identifying its contents, and that it is correctly signed so people can find it. The body colour itself is not what makes it compliant. Our custom units keep the correct contents labelling throughout.

Will a chrome or pink extinguisher pass a fire risk assessment?

It will, on the same terms as a red one: correct type for the risk, correctly sited, correctly signed, in service and with a service record. We supply all of that with it.

Can you match an extinguisher to our brand colour?

Usually, yes. Send us the colour reference or a photograph of the wall and we will come back with what is achievable and what the lead time looks like.

Do custom extinguishers cost much more to service?

No. They are serviced on exactly the same annual cycle, at the same price as any equivalent unit. The finish does not change the service.
