Who we are
Ren-Lock ("we", "us") is a family-run fire safety and locksmith business operating in London, the Home Counties and across the United Kingdom. For anything in this notice, contact us through the enquiry form on this website or by telephone on 07538 094345.
What we collect, and why
If you fill in an enquiry form on this website we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, your postcode or area, the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message box. We collect it for one reason: to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out and invoice the work.
We do not buy contact data, we do not sell yours, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
Lawful basis
We process enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us about work and, once you instruct us, on the basis of performing a contract with you. Where we are required to keep records for tax or safety purposes, we do so to comply with a legal obligation.
Who processes it
Enquiries submitted through this website are stored and routed by Webukit, the booking and enquiry platform we use, which runs on Amazon Web Services in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Acknowledgement emails are sent via Postmark. Those providers process the data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after two years. Records relating to work we have carried out, covering what was fitted, where, and when it was serviced, we keep for six years, because you and your insurer may need them and because servicing records have to be traceable.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies, runs no advertising tags and does not profile visitors. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which will see your IP address as part of serving the files.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the enquiry form, say what you want and why, and we will deal with it within a month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page. This notice was last updated in October 2026.
