Locksmith & Fire Safety in Stratford E15, E20

Working in Stratford

Stratford is where we are based, so it gets the fastest response we are capable of giving. It is also one of the most mixed building stocks in London, which keeps the work varied.

On one side there are the towers and managed blocks around East Village, Chobham Manor and Stratford City, buildings where almost everything we do is communal: flat entrance fire doors, door closers that have been propped open by residents, extinguishers in lobbies and bin stores, and restricted key systems so a lost fob or key does not mean rekeying the whole block. On the other side there are the Victorian terraces running out towards Maryland and Forest Gate, many now split into flats or run as HMOs, where it is FD30 doors, window restrictors and tenancy-change lock swaps.

Then there is Westfield and the retail and food units around it, which generate a steady run of wet chemical extinguishers for kitchens, shopfront boarding after a break-in, and shutter and padlock work on the smaller units.

Full service in Stratford. Call-outs, emergency entry and boarding up, plus all planned fire safety and security work.

What we are called out for most in Stratford

Emergency locksmith

Locked out, keys gone, or a lock that has simply given up. We open it, usually without damage, and make it secure before we leave.

Fire doors

A fire door is only a fire door if it was fitted like one. We hang them, seal them, and make sure they actually close.

Lock replacement

New tenancy, lost keys, a relationship ended, a break-in, or an insurer asking for a standard you do not have. All the same job, done properly.

Extinguisher servicing

An extinguisher is only worth the wall space if someone has checked it. We service every make and type, record what we find, and leave you the paperwork.

FAQs

Questions about working in Stratford

How fast can you get to Stratford?

Faster than anywhere else. It is where we are based. For anything left insecure in E15 or E20 we will normally be with you the same day, and often within a couple of hours.

Do you work in the managed blocks around East Village and the Olympic Park?

Regularly. Most of that work is communal: fire door and closer surveys, lobby extinguishers, restricted key suites for managing agents. We can deal with the building manager directly if that is simpler for you.
